Trailmaster
This conceptual design is inspired by the powerful yet elegant aesthetic of Jeep, a brand that embodies adventure, nature, and rugged reliability. As someone passionate about nature and exploration, I wanted to design a smartwatch that caters to the needs of hikers, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Jeep’s identity aligned perfectly with the vision I had for this project: a robust, functional, and multi-purpose watch tailored for survival and daily adventures.
The smartwatch is designed as a hiking and adventure companion with two key features:
Survival Bracelet Band: One interchangeable strap is a survivalist bracelet equipped with a small knife and other emergency-ready features. This adds functionality in critical situations.
Three-Screen Division: Unlike traditional smartwatches, the screen is divided into three functional segments to provide multiple pieces of information simultaneously. This design allows adventurers to access essential tools such as:
Navigation (e.g., Google Maps),
Health Monitoring (useful for those with medical conditions),
Emergency Contacts or other survival features.
This multi-screen layout reduces dependency on smartphones during outdoor activities, ensuring critical information is available at a glance.
After finalizing the concept, I transitioned into 3D modeling to visualize the design. The survival bracelet band and the multi-screen face were carefully integrated to align with the rugged yet sleek aesthetic of Jeep products. The smartwatch is designed to be versatile, functional, and visually distinct.
This stage focused on capturing the conceptual form rather than detailed engineering, as the aim was to illustrate the idea rather than produce a functional prototype.
The final design reflects a balance between functionality and visual appeal. The survivalist-inspired strap enhances the watch's practical utility for hikers, while the innovative three-screen layout provides adventurers with quick access to essential tools.
This conceptual project allowed me to explore how brands like Jeep can extend their identity into wearable technology. The watch combines rugged durability with innovative functionality, offering a tool that aligns perfectly with the needs of outdoor enthusiasts.
